Cheer New York is a diverse group of LGBTQ+ and ally cheerleaders who use their athletic and philanthropic abilities to empower and affect change in their communities through charitable action. Since Cheer New York was founded in 2001, they have been serving the Tri-State Area by inspiring and encouraging audiences wherever they perform and by raising money for local LGBTQ+ based charities through their New York Spirit Charity Fund. In the past 5 years, they have donated over $100,000 to local charities such as Immigration Equality and New Alternatives.

In late 2018, I lead the rebranding process for Cheer New York ahead of World Pride 2019 in NYC, including redesigning our logo and uniform, creating a gender neutral pro-shop and leading branding exercises with senior leadership to realign on brand positioning and messaging.
